    About This Art

Try it above the writing desk; the vertical will do the editing. This is a quiet, shaded piece — a country lane between tall trees, a small figure walking towards the light, warm brown earth and deep green foliage against a soft cream sky. On the wall it slows a room down. It suits studies, hallways, and English-country living rooms that already lean towards aged leather, oak and warm plaster. Hang it at eye-level on a chalky off-white or soft sage wall, or above a low sideboard where the top of the frame can breathe. Pair with wool, linen and stoneware. Avoid crowding it with bright modern graphics or clean chrome — the mood is old countryside, not gallery-white minimalism.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the deep browns and greens feel too dark on a light wall?

No — that contrast is what makes it work. On a chalky off-white, soft sage or warm cream wall the piece feels grounded rather than heavy. If your wall is very bright white, a warm brown frame softens the edge between wall and image and pulls the whole thing together.

Is the composition too busy for a small space?

Not really. The tall trees on either side act as natural framing, and the sunlit path in the middle gives your eye somewhere to rest. In a narrow hallway or above a console it actually helps — the vertical pulls the eye up and makes a tight wall feel taller.

Does it work as a solo piece or does it need company?

It's happy on its own — the composition is self-contained and does plenty of work by itself. If you'd rather build a small cluster, pair it with quieter watercolour landscapes, sepia sketches or simple botanical studies in similar warm tones. Avoid bright graphic prints, which will fight the mood.
