    About This Art

By evening, the crane stops looking decorative and starts working. The room settles into its softer side — the sage green pulls the walls back, the warm browns warm up the timber, and the dusty pinks pick up anything textile in the room. It brings a sense of slow, layered country-house calm without tipping into chintz. Best above a bed, a low sideboard or a reading chair, where you can sit with it rather than walk past it. Pair it with linen, oak, aged brass and stoneware in earthy tones — a plain lamp, a textured cushion, one good ceramic. Don't crowd it with other patterned florals or busy gallery walls; this print is the pattern, and the rest of the room should breathe around it. An oak frame keeps the warm-wood thread running through the piece.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the green background more grey or more sage?

It reads as a soft sage with a slightly dusty, grey-green undertone, not a fresh garden green. It sits comfortably next to off-whites, oat linens and warm browns, and stays calm under both daylight and lamplight rather than turning bright or acidic on the wall.

Will the pink blossoms look too sweet in a grown-up room?

The pink is dusty and faded, closer to old plaster than to nursery pink, and it's balanced by the deep greens, warm browns and the blue-grey tail feathers. In a room with timber, linen or stoneware it reads as gentle and lived-in rather than girly.

Does it work on its own or does it need a pair?

It holds a wall on its own. The crane gives it a clear focal point and the border of branches frames the composition, so it doesn't need a companion. If you do pair it, keep the partner quiet — a small botanical or a plain textile, not another statement piece.
