    About This Art

The black frame matters first; it tells the hallway you're serious. The dark linework in this piece needs a hard edge around it, and once that edge is there the whole wall reads as deliberate rather than decorative. Hang it and the olive green pulls warmth out of magnolia and clay-painted walls, while the rust of the fox picks up leather, terracotta and worn timber. It works at eye level on a hallway wall, above a hall bench, or on a study wall behind a desk. Pair it with wool, tweed, stoneware and dark wood. Don't hang it beside glossy chrome or cool grey photography — the folk linework loses its bite next to anything slick. On premium fine-art paper, the flat colour and cream pattern stay crisp.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the olive green work on a magnolia or cream wall?

Yes, and it's one of the easiest pairings. The olive is muted rather than bright, so it sits comfortably against magnolia, cream and clay paints and adds warmth without competing. On a white wall it reads a little sharper, which suits a study or hallway where you want the outline to stand out clearly.

Is the cream pattern too busy for a small hallway?

It's a dense background, but it behaves like wallpaper rather than detail, so it reads as one soft texture from a step or two back. In a narrow hall, keep it as the only piece on that wall and hang it at eye level. Skip the medium size if your wall is under 70cm wide.

Does it work in a modern room, or only country interiors?

It works in both, as long as the room has some warmth in it. Next to leather, wool, stoneware or dark timber it settles straight away. In a very sleek room with chrome and cool grey it can look like an outlier, so give it a warmer painted wall or place it near natural textures.
