    About This Art

Go wider than feels sensible. At 120cm across, the three of them sit level along the top of a headboard and the wall reads as one dark band with white shapes in it, which is the whole point. Small, they turn into a novelty. Hung big, the thick white paint shows its ridges and the near-black ground gives a chalky off-white wall sudden depth. Bedrooms take this best. White linen under it, one bedside lamp, no other black in the room to compete. In a living room it wants the full width of the sofa, with the side tables kept clear. The joke lands harder the more room you give it. On fine-art paper the ridges of paint print sharp, and a black frame closes the dark ground off neatly.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will three ghosts look like seasonal decoration in a bedroom?

Only if the rest of the room joins in. With white linen, a black bed frame and nothing orange nearby, it reads as a black and white painting with a joke in it rather than a Halloween display. Keep the wall around it clear and it sits comfortably in January. The thick paint does a lot of that work, because the surface looks like a painting first and a ghost second.

How wide should I go over a king-size bed?

Aim for two thirds to three quarters of the mattress width, which on a UK king means roughly 100 to 120cm across. Go narrower and the three figures bunch up and the black ground loses its weight. Hang the bottom edge about 15 to 20cm above the headboard so the ghosts line up with the top of it rather than floating high on the wall.

Does the black ground make a small room feel darker?

Less than you would expect. The white takes up almost half the surface and bounces light back, so a small bedroom with a pale wall stays bright. What changes is depth. The near-black band gives a flat off-white wall something to sit behind. In a room with little daylight, place it opposite the window so the white catches whatever light there is.
