    About This Art

Watch the three storks land, then the mustard yellow start doing damage. It pulls warmth out of every wood surface in the room and makes a plain wall look deliberate. Hang it where people stand and talk: above a sideboard in the living room, on a bright hallway wall, or at the end of a landing where it can be seen from a distance. Pair it with warm mid-brown wood, cane, off-white linen and one deep navy or mustard cushion so the colours have somewhere to land. Don't crowd it with lots of small framed pieces or busy patterned wallpaper — this one wants breathing space and a calm wall behind it. On fine-art paper the brushwork keeps its crisp painted edges.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will this be too loud for a room that's mostly neutral?

It's meant to be the loudest thing on the wall, and a neutral room is where it works best. Cream, off-white and warm wood give the mustard yellow and navy somewhere to sit. Repeat one colour in a cushion or vase and the room will read as planned rather than accidental.

Does it need a lot of wall space?

It needs height more than width. Aim for at least 80cm of clear wall and a good stretch above your furniture, so allow around 25cm between the top of a sideboard or sofa back and the bottom edge. In a tight alcove the colour can feel squeezed.

Can I use it in a dining room rather than a living room?

Yes, it suits dining rooms well. The colour reads brightly under daylight and warmly under lamps in the evening, so it holds up for both lunch and dinner. Hang it on the wall you face from the table, keep the rest of that wall clear, and let the tableware pick up the yellow or green.
