It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Yes, provided you go large. The egret is bright white against mid-blue, so the shape carries well from three or four metres. At small sizes the bird becomes a slim white mark in a wide blue field, which reads more as a block of colour than a bird. If the wall is short on space, choose medium and hang it closer to eye level.

It has texture. The blue is brushed rather than flat, shifting from cool grey-blue at the top to a deeper sea blue near the base, with visible brushmarks throughout. From a distance it looks like one calm colour. Up close you see the layering, which is what stops the piece feeling like a plain graphic.

No. Hang it as you would any portrait piece: centre roughly at eye level, or leave about 20 to 25cm above a low chest, console or headboard. Hanging it too high tips the bird's head out of comfortable view. Keep the wall either side fairly clear so the vertical shape does the work.
