At evening, the owl pair turns from nice idea to main character. Two birds sit shoulder to shoulder on a branch, framed by roses, anemones and trailing leaves on an almost-black ground.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the dark background feel heavy in a small hallway?
Less than you'd think. The near-black ground actually helps a narrow hallway feel deliberate rather than cluttered, because it gives the eye one strong thing to land on. It works best on a pale or chalky off-white wall, where the contrast does the heavy lifting and the warm browns and coral flowers soften it.
Is the typography part of the print or can it be cropped out?
The typography is part of the design and is printed as shown — "WILLIAM MORRIS" at the top and the exhibition lines at the bottom. It's what gives the piece its museum-poster character. If you want just the owls and flowers without text, this isn't the right print for you.
Does it work above a bed, or is it too busy?
It works above a bed if the headboard is plain — solid wood, upholstered in a quiet linen, or none at all. The print carries enough detail on its own, so you don't want competing pattern on the bedding. Stick to muted bedding in cream, soft brown or deep green.
