About This Art

A hallway this pared back can take one serious dark green. The white peacock holds the centre while the floral backdrop fills in around it, deep and dense.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Is the white peacock the only focal point, or does the floral backdrop compete with it?

The peacock sits clearly in front. The florals are detailed but dark and recessive, so the eye lands on the bird first. From a normal viewing distance the backdrop reads as texture and atmosphere rather than competing detail.

Will the dark background feel too heavy in a small hallway?

It can actually work in its favour. The cream border around the image lifts the piece off the wall, and the dark ground gives a small hallway a sense of depth rather than closing it in. Pair with a small lamp nearby to keep evenings warm.

Does the typography at the top and bottom date the piece to a specific event?
