How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Will the dark centre look too heavy in a small hallway?

The cream border around the artwork does a lot of the work — it gives the eye somewhere to rest, so the dark middle reads as a deliberate focal point rather than a black hole. In a narrow hallway, hang it at eye level and add a table lamp nearby rather than relying on overhead lighting.

Is the typography in English, and what does it say?

Yes, English throughout. The text reads PRINTS EXHIBITION at the top, WILLIAM MORRIS as the large title, BRITISH DESIGN beneath, and LONDON and TEXTILES at the bottom corners — styled like a museum exhibition poster. It sits well below the badger without competing with the botanical border.

Does the badger look cartoonish or quite realistic?
